Networkmetrics & Intelligent Communication Systems

Networkmetrics refers to the use of interpretable multivariate analysis in network applications. It stands for the combination of the application domain (network engineering) and the suffix ‘-metrics’, inherited from other disciplines where multivariate analysis has been widely adopted, both in academia and industry. There are tremendous opportunities for research and innovation in network engineering by looking for inspiration in areas like chemometrics or econometrics, which during decades have devised a plethora of multivariate approaches that can be adopted for traffic/logs exploration, network and service experimental design, planning and optimization, anomaly detection in cybersecurity, and many more applications.

At CoDaS Lab we are evangelists of the Networkmetrics concept. Most of our last projects, industry contracts and publications are available to be checked out.
